The Walking Dead only has eight episodes. As the show heads towards AMC’s series finale (which is somewhat ominously titled “RIP”) on November 20, we can’t wait to see what twists the zombie apocalypse show brings us in the final episode.
But first, where does the drama end when 11B ends in the spring? Well, in a nutshell, trouble is brewing in the Federation, with our favorite survivors scattered behind and outside the walls of a previously envisioned paradise. On the outside, there’s Daryl (Norman Reedus), Aaron (Rose Marquand), and Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) — the last time we’ll see each other They’ve angered Commonwealth villain Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton) – except for those who haven’t quite entered the Commonwealth and have been living on the fringes, like Maggie (Lauren Cohan). ) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
After the events of 11B’s finale, Marquand teased that Aaron and Gabriel “are still at large.” “The appearance of diplomacy and goodwill between Aaron, Gabriel and Lance is completely gone now,” he added. “So, they’re on the run, but they’re also willing to settle it peacefully if possible. But I don’t think any of them are kidding themselves that it’s an option, so they’re going to have to run away and shoot .”

Despite their pros at “running and shooting”, Hornsby, who hunted down their two faces as Commonwealth traitors, is not one to be taken lightly. “He’s trying to keep it together,” Hamilton noted. “He’s not trying to sow chaos, he’s just doing what he has to do. But things are going to get a little hairy. He’s definitely been put to the test.” To really defend his character, Hamilton jokingly added: “It seems Everyone was against him and I don’t know why.”

In the 11C premiere of “Blockade”, Daryl and Negan will rush back to the Commonwealth to prevent Hornsby from reaching their family and close friends. Inside the Commonwealth Wall, however, things are not getting better. Very in love but also very dangerous Eugene and Max (Josh McDermitt and Margot Bingham) are sowing some mayhem of their own to overthrow Commonwealth Governor Pamela Milton (Leila Roe). Binns) and her spoiled adult son Sebastian (Teo Rapp-Olsson), who has caused a stir of his own. Commonwealth citizens are protesting and demanding justice for the many crimes he committed – especially those that cost the lives of Commonwealth people.
“Eugene carefully danced this strange dance and walked nervously forward to expose the Miltons in a way that held them accountable,” McDermitt said. “He’s eager to save and help people, his friends and the community – he understands that puts Max and others in a bind, but I think he knows what’s right and what he’s supposed to do, so I think that’s what drives him. “He was committed to making the Commonwealth a better place to live.”

Fortunately, Max, still serving as Pamela’s executive assistant, gave it his all. “It’s definitely the most exciting thing she’s had to deal with in a long time,” Bingham said of Max and Eugene’s plot to topple her boss. “It’s fun to be a little naughty. Going with Eugene on any of these crazy stunts, they don’t seem so crazy because she’s already in love and she just knows it’s going to help everyone. How they’ll do this remains to be seen, but looking like a rogue Hornsby, protesting in the streets and more, the Miltons will have a lot to overcome to maintain their grip on the city community. Don’t forget that journalist Connie (Lauren Riedloff) is there for them too. Let’s just say we think the Commonwealth will play well in the last few episodes, but it sounds like the Miltons might be cheering soon.
